The Digital Network Assessment measures an organization’s own perception of its digital strengths and weaknesses, as well as inconsistencies in digital knowledge and perception across the company. We look at where the company’s average score ranks on a zero to 100 scale, with 50 set as the median point. We also measure how responses differ throughout the company, to help identify where gaps are most prevalent.
A company’s digital capabilities are a function of three types of management, all of which we track individual scores for:
1. Information Management: how information is gathered and presented in an organization’s online presence
2. Communication Management: how feedback and conversation with relevant audiences is organized and monitored
3. Resource Allocation: how capital, time and human resources are being organized to support digital efforts
In addition to these scores, we provide clients with qualitative analysis of particular answers to identify the specific locations of these knowledge and perception gaps, as well as a checklist of specific areas an organization can target to improve the strength of their internal digital network.
